Jamel Kaur Singh is an entrepreneur, a financial and real estate consultant, a cultural advocate and performer, and an author. She has devoted her life to cultural education and firmly believes that truly understanding one another will rid the world of racial intolerance and bullying caused by ignorance, fear, and misunderstanding. From her first degree in Administration Management in Aboriginal Affairs and Community Engagement to her MBA, she has spent a quarter of a century educating cultural well-being. Having taught English, Accounting, Cultural Studies, and Financial Literacy in RMIT Universities and at Holmesglen TAFE, she has empowered and motivated people to create strong cultural acceptance that embraces globalization.

Her advocacies were nurtured by her parents, Peace Advocate and Interfaith Leader, Jessiee Kaur Singh, and Internationally renowned World Music Artist and Author, Dya Singh , and were developed along with her sisters, Harsel and Parvyn.

She wrote the “The World is Our Playground” series as an enthralling avenue to express and explore culture and help build in students the awareness and appreciation of what culture really means. To allow students the opportunity to see themselves represented in the books they read and showcase Australia’s true diversity made up of citizens from across the globe – people that have migrated generations ago.

She has been a cultural consultant for over 25 years, undertaking Professional Development for teachers, health care professionals, within the corporate world, and working as project officer for interfaith and not-for-profit organisations.

She has developed programs for various organisations to help them achieve their aims, objectives and goals, further inspiring places of cultural competence, designed to meet the needs of the community, the corporate world and students now and into the future.

Jamel works with other presenters and facilitators including, Internationally renowned Dya Singh, First Nations Elder, Gene Blow, Table Maestro, Dheeraj Shrestha, The Singh Sisters, and other Faith and Community leaders according to the needs and requirements of the workshop/presentation.
